Hari yang sungguh membosankan di ofis. Lalu aku sms Kri dan beremail dengannya. Kami berbalas-balas sms dan email. Kri yang cuba menghilangkan rasa bosanku memberitahu satu berita gembira. Dia telah dihubungi oleh Noble House, yang ingin menerbitkan puisi Kri, 'MAHSURI CAN WAIT' yang ditulisnya untuk ku sedikit masa dulu.

Sebenarnya, Kri ada memberitahu aku ada sedikit kontroversi berkenaan Noble House dan Poetry.com bila ramai penyajak membuat aduan terhadap mereka dan dia menghantar puisi ini hanya untuk suka-suka. Tak kisahlah sebab aku pun suka. Ini dia puisinya:

MAHSURI CAN WAIT

Mahsuri can wait

for another thousand years

as today the queen of my throbbing heart

have summoned for me in her royal court

and here I am

a loyal knight in shining armour, awaiting

for her every royal wish and bidding

at her majestic palace of love

Mahsuri can wait

as today the high priestess has chosen

my throbbing heart as sacrificial token

and here I am

an abiding devotee before her altar

with my throbbing my heart on a platter

at her mystical temple of devotion

Mahsuri can wait

for another thousand years

as today you have held your hands out

and softly touched my throbbing heart

and here I am

locked in your eternal embrace I lay

forever and ever, come whatever may

in this historic city of surrender
